The North Georgia Youth Wind Symphony is the premiere youth wind ensemble for the North Georgia area, consisting of eighty high school age musicians of the highest caliber.

The students share a commitment to excellence in musical performance in these areas: flute/piccolo, oboe/English horn, bassoon/contrabassoon, clarinet, bass clarinet, saxophone (all), trumpet, horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba, percussion, piano, string bass, and harp. 

The purpose of the North Georgia Youth Wind Symphony is to provide a high quality musical experience to its members so that they may take their energy, enthusiasm, leadership, and musicianship to their home band and orchestra programs.

The ensemble will rehearse on Sundays from 2:00 - 5:00 on the beautiful campus of Reinhardt University in the school of performing arts and the Falany performing arts center.. The cost for membership will be $125 for the year. Scholarships can be applied for. Every rehearsal and performance for the year will be listed on the calendar page.
